■ESNC 0.5SQ×1P Omron Controller Link Cable
JMACS' twisted pair cable for controller link (ESNC) is a cable developed for Controller Link, an FA network system from Omron Corporation.
Cable Features
Compliant with Omron Corporation's Controller Link recommended cable evaluation test.
The sheath (outer jacket) is made of lead-free vinyl, which is flexible and resistant to oil and heat (RoHS compliant).
It has flame retardancy that passes the UL VW-1 flammability test.
It is also ideal for RS-422 and RS-485 signal transmission. It can also be used as a connection cable for OPCN-1.
Handling Precautions
The ESNC is a cable for fixed wiring. Do not wire to moving parts.
Allowable bending radius
Please note that bending the cable too sharply may deteriorate its characteristics or cause communication errors.
For Controller Link cables, it is recommended that the bending radius R be 60 mm or more.
Allowable tension
Please note that if excessive tension is applied when extending the cable, the conductor may stretch or break. The
allowable tension for ESNC 0.5mm2 x 1 pair should be 7kg or less.
Other precautions when wiring the Controller Link
To prevent the ESNC from being affected by noise, etc., wire and install it separately from power lines and high-voltage lines.
Please ground the ESNC shield wire so that it is not in the same place as any drive system device such as an inverter.
The shielded wire of the ESNC must be grounded at one end, not at both ends.
Do not install wiring outdoors. If outdoor wiring is necessary, be sure to take measures against lightning such as burying the wiring underground or inside pipes.
Be careful not to put heavy objects on the ESNC or apply load to it.
